由亞洲開放大學協會主辦的國際研討會， 2000 年 10 月 25 日至 27 日在馬尼拉召開，主題為“開放學習和遠 程教育：理念、教學和技術”。 22 個國家和地區的 213 名遠程教育者提交了論文，其中 94 篇學術論文被入選為參賽論文。

(香港、上海、愛丁堡三地學生職業指導體驗的比較研究 ) 由中國職業技術教育學會職業指導專業委員會主辦， 1999 年 10 月 24 日至 26 日在天津召開，主題為“ 99 職業指導國際研討會”。 8 個國家的 206 名職業指導工作者參加， 174 篇論文被入選為參賽論文。
